Accessible Customer Service Policy.

 

Providing Goods to People with Disabilities

 

ACCUREX Health Care Manufacturing Inc. is committed to excellence in serving all customers including people with disabilities.

 

Assistive devices

We are committed to serving people with disabilities who use assistive devices to obtain, use or benefit from our goods.� We will ensure that our staff is trained and familiar with various assistive devices that may be used by all persons with disabilities visiting our facility to access our goods.

 

Communication

We will communicate with people with disabilities in ways that take into account their disability.

 

Service animals

Due to the nature of our business, service animals are not allowed in our manufacturing are but are more than welcome in our front office.� We will find other means of making our goods accessible to people who require the use of service animals.

 

Support persons

We are committed to welcoming people with disabilities who are accompanied by a support person.� A person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person will be allowed to have that person accompany them on our premises.� At no time will a person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person be prevented from having access to his or her support person while on our premises.

 

Notice of temporary disruption

In the event of a planned or unexpected disruption to facilities for customers with disabilities, ACCUREX Health Care Manufacturing Inc. will notify customers promptly.� This clearly posted notice will include information about the reason for the disruption, its anticipated length of time, and a description of alternative facilities, if available.

 

The notice will be posted at a conspicuous place on the premises.

 

Training for staff

ACCUREX Health Care Manufacturing Inc. will provide training to employees and volunteers who deal with customers or other third parties on our behalf.

 

Individuals in the following positions will be trained:

Receptionist, Purchasing Officer, Logistics Officer, Shipping/Receiving Personnel and QA/QC Supervisor.

 

This training will be provided to staff as early as possible as well as on an on-going basis as changes occur to ACCUREX� plan and/or when there are changes to the Act.� In the event of new hires, training will be provided within one month after hiring.

For each employee trained, records will be kept indicating the date and training provided.

 

Feedback process

The ultimate goal of ACCUREX Health Care Manufacturing Inc. is to meet and surpass expectations while serving customers with disabilities.� Comments regarding how well those expectations are being met are welcome and appreciated.

Modifications to this or other policies

Any policy of ACCUREX Health Care Manufacturing Inc. that does not respect and promote the dignity and independence of people with disabilities will be modified or removed.
